John Brennan is Cupcake, a spreading moniker. He took the name Cupcake as a trail name when he hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2002. Soon after that, he took Cupcake as his faerie name. It stuck as a trail name on the Continental Divide Trail in 2004.

Now he's taken it further. He is Cupcake to some of his clients and has introduced the name in places that use Native American or nature names.

Cupcake has done a lot of personal growth work with a great organization in Eugene, Oregon, Wings Seminars. Most of the writing came out of the Lifeworks seminar.
